Welcome to our Nature Reserve

Our finca is uniquely blessed to have a protected nature reserve with an abundant source of water from the Rosario River which flows through the nature reserve under a cathedral-like canopy of trees.  

The founder of Finca Los Suenos, Markus Schliessler,  saw the potential and importance of protecting the Rio Rosario valley, and subsequently donated the land to the community. Today the 86-acre nature reserve within the Finca Los Suenos is fully owned by the Finca Los Suenos Association SA (FLSOA).  All shares of the FLSOA are held by a trust on behalf of all the lot owners.  By this legal structure the nature reserve is controlled and continued protected for the enjoyment of all lot own

The nature reserve is one of the most unique and gratifying features of the Finca Los Suenos community.  Most of the privately owned lots overlook the nature reserve, allowing for vistas that include the natural beauty of the area and the assurance against future development.  There are walking trails throughout the community, and swimming holes in and along the river that can be easily accessed from multiple places.
